At The Gigi Store, we want you to love every piece you receive. If something is not right, we are here to help. Please review our Return & Refund Policy below before initiating a return.
Return Window
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return or exchange. Requests received after the 30-day window cannot be accepted.
What Qualifies for a Return
You may request a return or exchange if:
- The item arrived damaged, defective, or faulty.
- The item does not match the product description or images on our website.
- The wrong item was shipped (incorrect size, colour, or style).
- You changed your mind, and the item is unworn, unwashed, in its original condition, with all tags and packaging intact.
Return Method & Conditions
- Method: Returns are shipped by mail to our return address (provided after your return is approved).
- Condition: Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with all tags and packaging.
- Authorisation: All returns require prior approval. Unauthorised returns may be refused.
How to Request a Return
- Email us at info@thegigistore.com within 30 days of delivery.
- Include your order number, the reason for return, and (for damage or quality issues) clear photos of the item.
- Our team will respond within 48 hours with return instructions and the return address.
- Ship the item back using a trackable service. We cannot be held responsible for items lost in return transit.
Return Shipping Costs
- Damaged, defective, or incorrect items: The Gigi Store covers the return shipping cost.
- Change-of-mind returns: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Restocking Fee
We do not charge any restocking fee. 100% of the eligible product cost is refunded once the return is approved.
Refund Processing Time
Once your return is delivered to our warehouse, our team will inspect it within 2–3 business days. Approved refunds are then issued to your original payment method within 10 business days of inspection.
If more than 10 business days have passed after refund approval and you have not received your refund, please contact us at info@thegigistore.com.
What Is Refunded
- Product cost: Fully refunded for approved returns.
- Original shipping cost: Non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error (wrong, defective, or damaged item).
Exchanges
We are happy to offer exchanges subject to stock availability:
- Before shipment: Contact us to change size, colour, or style at no extra cost.
- After delivery: Return the original item following the process above. Once received and approved, we will ship the replacement. If a price difference applies, we will notify you before processing.
If the requested item is out of stock, we will offer a full refund or store credit — your choice.
Items Not Eligible for Return
- Items that have been worn, washed, or altered.
- Items returned without original tags or packaging.
- Personalised or custom-made items.
- Gift cards.
- Intimate wear and swimwear (for hygiene reasons), unless faulty or defective.
- Items returned after the 30-day return window.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and your order number. We will arrange a replacement, exchange, or full refund — including return shipping — at no cost to you.
Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled free of charge before they are dispatched. Once an order has shipped, the return process above applies.
Consumer Rights (EU)
This policy is in addition to your statutory rights under EU consumer law, including the 14-day right of withdrawal. Nothing in this policy limits those rights.
